Vintage sleigh ride at Coventry Transport Museum

Ho ho ho, Santa Claus is in town. From 2-23 December, wander through a magical winter wonderland at the Coventry Transport Museum.

  • Walk through festive snowy scenes.
  • Ride on Santa’s enchanting vintage sleigh - pulled by two of his trusty reindeers!
  • Meet and greet Mr Claus himself, where you can share all your Christmas wishes with him.

    It gets very busy as it gets near to Christmas so avoid the queues by coming to see Santa as soon as you can.

    Remember we are open in term time, which is an ideal quieter time to bring pre-schoolers to enjoy their visit.

Santa’s grotto at Dudley Zoological Gardens

There’s magic in the air at Dudley Zoological Garden. Right up until Christmas Eve - before the busiest day of the year for Santa and his reindeers, come and visit his grotto set in the stunning grounds of the 11th century Dudley Castle.

The Snow Queen at The Old Rep Theatre 

This Christmas, Hans Christian Andersen’s classic tale ‘The Snow Queen’ will be re-created as a breathtaking on-stage production at The Old Rep Theatre for the entire family to enjoy.

From the creative team behind last year’s Pinocchio, comes spellbinding storytelling, masses of Christmas magic and a fairy-tale you will not want to miss this Christmas.

About The Snow Queen

This adaptation of the magical adventure follows inseparable friends Kai and Gerda.  When the heartless Snow Queen steals Kai to help rebuild her broken treasure, can Gerda rescue him in time before she plunges the world into an eternal winter? With the help of an unlikely band of companions, Gerda travels to the Kingdom of Ice to confront the Snow Queen and rescue her friend.

Ice Skating at Warwick Castle

The girls and i had the cutest evening last night at the beautiful @warwickcastleofficial! It was the launch party* for their opening of the new Ice Rink and the girls absolutely LOVED their first ever time ice skating! With fab music playing while we made our way around the rink, hot chocolate, mulled wine and mince pies and hot dogs 😍 even Santa and his lovely wife made an appearance. ‘Tis the season… falala la laaa, if your vocal cords are ready to sing to the top of the caverns (literally) Dudley Canal and Tunnel Trust invites you on a musical excursion to uplift your Christmas spirits. The caverns are adorned and ready for a magical and intimate boat road along the canal, with a small choir joining your journey to assist with ‘carols in the cavern’.

This added Christmas festivity runs every Sunday (except 29th) throughout December at 6:15pm and 8pm priced at £12.50 per person.    

If you are not the singing type, nevertheless, sit back and enjoy the vibes and unique tour of the limestone mines with your loved ones.
