The West Midlands Growth Company brings you the West Midlands Tourism Awards 2023!
Following the successes of previous events, we are delighted to launch our third tourism awards for the 2022-23 cycle. We hope you can join us as we collectively raise a glass to shine a spotlight on the region’s hard-working tourism champions.
The 2023 awards will celebrate the successes of tourism businesses across the region and promote the strength of the business and leisure tourism offer, its venues, people, experiences and accommodation.
The awards also serve to highlight the importance of tourism’s contribution to the regional economy, which stood at £13.1bn in 2019. Together with our industry partners, we will seek to grow the economic value of tourism during the next decade, using major events including the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games.
Eligible winners from the West Midlands Tourism Awards will automatically feed into the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence 2023 for the chance to be recognised as a national winner.

Eligible Businesses:
Any relevant tourism and/or hospitality businesses applying to the West Midlands Tourism Awards 2023 must lie within one of the following areas (i.e. pay their business rates to one of the following District or County Councils): Birmingham, Cannock Chase, Coventry, Dudley, North Warwickshire, Nuneaton & Bedworth, Rugby, Sandwell, Shropshire, Solihull, Stratford-upon-Avon, Telford & Wrekin, Walsall, Warwick, Wolverhampton.
If your business does not fall into one of these areas, there may be an Awards competition more local to you, which you can search for here.
