About

Shakespeare Distillery is the only working Gin & Rum craft distillery in Stratford-upon-Avon.   We produce Gin using the botanicals found in a Tudor garden; a truly modern gin with a twist of history.  During lockdown we started experimenting with Rum production and we are proud to be one of only 8 Distilleries in the country to produce British Rum from scratch.

In addition to our main Distillery site on the outskirts of Stratford-upon-Avon, we recently opened Judith’s House of Spirits, a heritage building in centre of town.  At one time, this building was the home of Judith, the younger daughter of William Shakespeare and her husband, Thomas Quiney.  On the ground floor we have our main Distillery shop and the two upper floors house our Rum School & Tasting Room.

Our tours:

Shakespeare Distillery:

Judith’s:

  • Cocktail Masterclass

We also offer Gin Tasting Cruises on the Avon in conjunction with Avon Boating.
