About

Tipton Library is next to the beautiful Victoria Park.. The library is situated in an early 20th Century building, with timber beams, stained glass and parquet floors. The town’s famous 19th century boxer, William Perry, otherwise known as the Tipton Slasher, lived close by at the Fountain public house.

You will find a selection of books for all ages, along with computers and free wi-fi. There are learning sessions, such as basic ICT, careers advice and more.

There is a children’s section with regular activities going on, especially in school holidays.

Our friendly staff will help you find what you’re after, whether that’s a book or information on any subject.
