About

Originally built on the ruins of a 12th century Augustinian Priory, Arbury Estate has been the home of the Newdegate family for over 400 years. During the second half of the 18th century, this beautiful Elizabethan mansion was transformed into the Gothic style by Sir Roger Newdigate. The hall now provides a complete example of early Gothic Revival architecture and is regarded as a ‘Gothic Gem’ of the Midlands.

Arbury Hall is not only a unique venue for events and activities, it is also a great place to take your family for a splendid and memorable day out!
Whilst here you will enjoy a memorable experience of a unique, historic stately home whose rooms have breathtaking fan vaulted ceilings with filigree tracery and plunging pendants, a perfect example of the early Gothic Revival architecture of the Elizabethan period.

With widespread lawns surrounded by stunning lakes and scenic parkland, the landscaped gardens are the perfect place for a leisurely stroll. In the summer season the beautiful Rose Garden is a sheer joy to behold with the vibrant colours and scents of the roses at their perfect best.
