About

A wonderful meeting of medieval and modern design, Coventry Cathedral is an international icon of hope. Destroyed in the Coventry Blitz during the Second World War, the Ruins now stand alongside the ‘New’ Cathedral as a poignant reminder of the power of peace and reconciliation.

There is more to see than just the Ruins though! Come and climb the 14th Century Tower and take in magnificent views of Coventry and the surrounding area. The New Cathedral is a treasure trove of some of the finest artworks from the 1950s and ‘60s, which sit alongside a wide and impressive range of stained glass.

A visit to Rising Café located in the undercroft will round off your time here perfectly.
